Campus Involvement
Kappa is a diverse group of girls with many different interests and talents. We are a sisterhood that aims to support one another, our peers at UBC, and the community. Our sisters introduce each other to new ideas, and important causes that inspire us to get involved and be active in the community.
Philanthropy
Kappa loves participating in other philanthropy and sports events put on by UBC and other members of the Greek Community. We recognize the importance of supporting our peers and as many philanthropic causes that we have the opportunity to participate in. This often includes Kappa teams for other sorority and fraternity sporting events, where Kappa's come out to compete and play or just to watch and support our sisters.
Sports
Whether you like to get out and play just for fun or live for the thrill of competition, Kappa has both competitive and non-competitive teams for UBC REC volleyball, soccer, kickball, softball, flag football, and more! Kappa sports teams, which are often paired with other sorority and fraternity teams on campus, are a great way to get involved in sports that you may not have otherwise, spend time with sisters, and meet more people through weekly games! In addition, Kappa always enters a team in other Greek sporting philanthropies, and there is always a crowd of Kappa's to cheer on whoever is competing!
Scholarship
Kappa promotes, through its standards, a broad college experience. Scholarship, or intellectual development, is our first priority, and the impressive achievements of our members attest to this. In Kappa, scholarship programs provide an atmosphere for academic accomplishment emphasizing that each member attain her personal academic best.
