Social

Kappa has formally organized exchanges with fraternities where members get to spend time getting to know other members of the Greek community, always with fun activities and fast budding friendships.  We also have exchanges with other UBC sororities, often fun combined study nights, where we get to meet more women outside of Kappa and share a new kind of bond of sisterhood.  

There is never a dull moment in the Greek System, and Kappa's take full advantage of this. If ever a break from studying is needed, Kappa's are never short on events to go to, or friends to do something with.

Semi-Formals and Formals

We kick off the year on a high note with our semi-formal. It is a night in which we all come together with our newly initiated sisters, and celebrate the start to a new school year.

To celebrate the closing of the year and the new memories and friendships we have formed, we have our annual formal, Sapphire Ball.  It is a fun filled night shared with our sisters and dates, with no shortage of laughter, dancing, awards, special Kappa traditions, and of course great food.  Over the years we continue to hold our formal at beautiful venues around Vancouver, and always have an amazing time celebrating our sisterhood reaching new heights and growing with each passing year.
